Utah Campus Compact provides substantive community engagement professional development opportunities to the faculty, students, and staff of Utah’s colleges and universities, and serves as an administrator and channel of AmeriCorps support for higher education the value of which exceeds $1.2 Million. –Alexis Bucknam, Director of Utah Campus Compact
Utah Campus Compact provides opportunities for students in the form of leadership experience and training, offering the Utah Intercollegiate Legislature experience, providing awards and stipends, and participating in the National Newman Civic Fellowship. Additionally Utah Campus Compact oversees over 900 students enrolled in AmeriCorps who provide direct service to their communities in Utah including over 125 non-profits, schools, and government agencies.
Utah Campus Compact provides training to faculty in civic engagement practices. Faculty also serve on the Steering Committee, Faculty Development Network Committee, and the Community Engagement Administrators Network.
